About
A local scholarship for students pursuing nursing. Applicants must live in Adena Health System’s nine-county service area and meet the general Hope For Our Future application requirements. Selection considers academic performance, community and school involvement, and the quality of the application. Awards are paid directly to the recipient's school.
Who can apply
Be pursuing nursing (nursing students only).
“Reginald C. Blue Nursing Scholarship Endowment: Nursing students only. Students pursuing this scholarship must live in one of the nine counties making up Adena’s service area.”
Live in one of Adena Health's nine-county service area (Ross, Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Jackson, Scioto, Vinton, Pike, Hocking).
“Scholarships are available to any high school student residing in one of the counties Adena Health System considers to be part of its service area who is pursuing an education within the field of health care. Those counties include: Ross, Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Jackson, Scioto, Vinton, Pike, and Hocking”
Have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0.
“Applicants must have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 and be receiving a high school diploma or have a GED score of at least 550 to be considered.”
