Good questions
The short version of how KickScholar works and what it will never do.
Yes. Creating an account, building your profile, finding and saving scholarships and preparing applications are free for students.
No. KickScholar helps you find scholarships, organise them and prepare strong answers. You submit each application yourself on the sponsor's official site, and nothing is sent without you.
The copilot helps you outline and draft from your own confirmed profile and stories, and it flags any claim it cannot support. It never invents grades, awards or experiences. You edit and approve every word before you use it.
A match status compares a scholarship's stated requirements with the facts you have confirmed: qualified, likely qualified, needs information or not qualified, with the reasons listed. KickScore is a 0 to 100 signal for deciding what to work on first, based on fit, award size, effort and deadline. It is not a prediction of whether you will win.
Only you, unless you choose otherwise. Your profile is private by default. If you create a funding profile, you choose each field that becomes public, and your home address, birth date, phone number, private email and documents are never shown.
Supporters contribute to a student's funding profile through a secure Stripe checkout, and the contribution, the payment processing fee and any optional support for KickScholar are itemized before they pay. The fee is added on top, so the student receives the full contribution. A contribution supports a student's education; it is not a tax-deductible donation. Students under 18 set up funding with a parent or guardian.
Each listing is researched on the sponsor's official page. We show the source and when it was last checked, and we mark a listing Verified only when the official page and the current deadline were confirmed in the last 120 days.
Yes. Many listed scholarships are for high school juniors and seniors. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian is involved in funding profiles and payouts.
It's free, and it starts with your profile.
