Washington and Lee University
About
A merit-based scholarship program at Washington and Lee University that recognizes students for academic achievement, leadership, and integrity. Awards cover tuition, fees, housing, food, and provide $10,000 for a summer experience. Up to 44 incoming students are selected each year and finalists attend an on-campus selection event. The program also offers additional funding opportunities and alumni support.
W&L’s Johnson Scholarship recognizes and rewards students on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and integrity, and their potential to contribute to the intellectual and civic life of the W&L campus and the world at large in years to come.
