A fund supporting students pursuing medical and nursing careers and allied medical arts. It is available to students with ties to Chillicothe or Ross County. The scholarship is part of Adena Health Foundation’s Hope For Our Future program to help residents pursue health care education.
Help students pursue careers in health care by providing scholarship support to those in Adena Health System's service area.
Who can apply
Live in one of Adena Health System's nine service-area counties
“Scholarships are available to any high school student residing in one of the counties Adena Health System considers to be part of its service area who is pursuing an education within the field of health care. Those counties include: Ross, Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Jackson, Scioto, Vinton, Pike, and Hocking”
Be a resident of Chillicothe
“Residents of Chillicothe and/or Ross County or students who are graduates of a high school located in Chillicothe or Ross County are eligible.”
Live in Ross County
“Residents of Chillicothe and/or Ross County or students who are graduates of a high school located in Chillicothe or Ross County are eligible.”
Be a graduate of a high school located in Chillicothe or Ross County

Be studying to become a medical doctor, osteopathic doctor, registered nurse, or in allied medical arts

Have a high school GPA of at least 3.0
“Applicants must have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0”
Be receiving a high school diploma or have a GED score of at least 550
“Applicants must have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 and be receiving a high school diploma or have a GED score of at least 550 to be considered.”
Employees of Adena Health System are eligible · preferred

Study to become a medical doctor, osteopathic doctor, registered nurse, or be studying allied medical arts.
