A scholarship fund for students studying nursing. It is part of Adena Health Foundation’s Hope For Our Future scholarships supporting students pursuing healthcare careers within Adena’s service area. Applicants must submit an online application with transcript, two letters of recommendation, a short essay, and college acceptance letters.
Who can apply
Live in one of Adena Health System's nine-county service area (Ross, Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Jackson, Scioto, Vinton, Pike, Hocking).
“Scholarships are available to any high school student residing in one of the counties Adena Health System considers to be part of its service area who is pursuing an education within the field of health care. Those counties include: Ross, Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Jackson, Scioto, Vinton, Pike, and Hocking”
Have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0.
“Applicants must have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 and be receiving a high school diploma or have a GED score of at least 550 to be considered.”
