Mary Doctor Scholarship
Mary Doctor Fine Arts Scholarship Committee
About
The Mary Doctor Fine Arts Scholarship awards up to two Charlotte-region high school seniors each year to support undergraduate study in an arts discipline. Awards are made based on financial need, artistic ability, and potential for a career in the arts. Recipients must be accepted to a college or university with an established arts program and plan to pursue an undergraduate arts degree. Audition and portfolio presentations are part of the selection process.
"My hope is for this scholarship to encourage those with a special talent to keep the arts alive and to never have them fade away."
