A memorial scholarship established in 2012 to support graduating high school seniors from the Great Lakes Bay Region who plan to pursue undergraduate studies in medical fields. Recipients must attend Michigan State University, University of Michigan, or Saginaw Valley State University and enroll full-time. Selection considers financial need, awards and honors, an essay, and overall involvement in work, school and community activities.
This scholarship will honor the legacy of Joe and Rosanne Gardner by encouraging bright young people to pursue careers in medicine.
Who can apply
Be a graduating high school senior.

Have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in medical, dental, nursing, or pharmacology.
