About
The James Bridenbaugh Memorial Scholarship supports undergraduate students in their sophomore, junior or senior year who are pursuing a career in floral design and the marketing of fresh flowers and plants. It is awarded as part of AFE’s suite of scholarships for students in floriculture and horticulture. Awards from AFE range between $500 and $5,000 and are paid jointly to the recipient and their college.
Awarding scholarships for floriculture and horticulture students is a primary function of AFE
Who can apply
Be a college sophomore, junior, or senior.
“The Bridenbaugh scholarship is for sophomore, junior or senior students who are pursuing a career in floral design and marketing of fresh flowers and plants.”
Have at least a 2.0 grade point average (AFE minimum requirement).
“Have a minimum 2.0 grade point average. (Some scholarships may require different grade point averages which will be noted in their description.)”
Be a citizen or resident of the U.S. or Canada.
“Be a CITIZEN OR RESIDENT OF THE U.S. OR CANADA or be enrolled in an accredited educational institution in the U.S. or Canada.”
