About
Adena Health Foundation's Hope For Our Future Scholarships provide financial support to students from Adena’s nine-county service area who are pursuing education in health care-related fields. Multiple named funds exist within the program serving clinical and non-clinical pathways. Applicants must submit an online application, transcript, recommendations, a personal essay and college acceptance letters.

Who can apply
Live in one of Adena Health System's nine service-area counties
“Scholarships are available to any high school student residing in one of the counties Adena Health System considers to be part of its service area who is pursuing an education within the field of health care. Those counties include: Ross, Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Jackson, Scioto, Vinton, Pike, and Hocking”
Be a high school student (any grade)

Have a high school GPA of at least 3.0
“Applicants must have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 and be receiving a high school diploma or have a GED score of at least 550 to be considered.”
Be pursuing education in a health care or health-system related field
“Scholarships are available to any high school student ... who is pursuing an education within the field of health care.”
Be an employee of Adena Health System (employees are eligible to apply) · preferred

Some named funds restrict awards to specific fields or residency (example: nursing-only funds, radiology funds, medical laboratory fund requirements) · preferred
