About
The Ford Opportunity Scholars Program provides renewable undergraduate scholarships for parents and adult learners with significant barriers to higher education. Awards help cover tuition, living expenses, books, and required fees and may include child care costs for students with dependent children. Up to 90 renewable scholarships are awarded each year to students from Oregon and Siskiyou County, California. The program provides financial, academic and professional support and connection to an alumni community.
Who can apply
Be a resident of Oregon or of Siskiyou County, California

Be a parent or an adult learner over age 25 as of March 1 of the application year

Have a goal of earning an associate or bachelor's degree and not have previously earned a bachelor's degree

Have at least one full year remaining in their program as of fall of the application year

Be prepared to enroll in the fall of the application year and attend full time at a federally financial aid-eligible public or private (nonprofit) college based in their home state of Oregon or California
