The Donald & Shirley Hastings Scholarship is one of the AWS Foundation National Scholarships supporting students pursuing postsecondary study in welding or a related discipline. Awards from the national scholarship program provide funds to be paid to the educational institution for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and equipment. Applicants to these scholarships must submit transcripts and recommendation letters as part of the online application.
The National Scholarships are the most prestigious, high-dollar scholarships offered by the AWS Foundation.

Be pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in welding or a related discipline.
